I thought I'd dedicate a little page on here to my weight loss journey...
I have always been overweight, my whole life, and I've tried diets here and there but I have never stuck to it, or lost more that a few pounds.
In June this year I decided to start Scottish Slimmers. Basically, it's a food plan where you are allowed a certain number of Checks per day, 50 for me at the moment. Each Check is equal to 25 calories. Finally, I have found something that is working for me, and to date I've lost 1st 7 and a half pounds. I don't have major weight losses every week, but my weight is coming down and thats the most important thing.
The thing I like most is nothing is forbidden. As long as you count it in you can have it. Obviously, I would just now rather choose healthier things rather than use up my checks on fatty things - ie, I now would never have a doner kebab now I know that it is 50+ checks per serving. (Shudder).
Anyways, I shall use this space to let you know how I am getting on and share my ups and downs with you. I still have a long way to go, but the end product will be worth it.
